Black and White Wednesday - "When Will Spring Really Arrive?"

March 30, 2011

Sarah in the fur hood HZ CP3 BLOG
Can you believe that we are still wearing our heavy winter jackets?
I was ready to move them into the other closet two weeks ago. It's a good thing I left them out because even though the calendar says it is officially spring, I don't think winter is quite ready to leave just yet.

Sarah in the fur hood BW BLOG
Sarah let me snap this yesterday as we were heading out to the doctor.
She had her 4 yr old well visit.... we are a few months late, but she did get a clean bill of health along with a shot in each arm.
Sarah is 43 inches tall and weighs 34 pounds. I am thinking she could be a Rockette with those long legs:)

I loved her tousled hair and how only half of her smile was peeking out from behind her big warm jacket in this photo.

Hopefully that jacket is only going to be worn a few more times before it is officially retired for the season.

Bring on the Spring weather....... PLEASE!

~Happy Wednesday~

You know I am wondering this same exact thing, right?
Fantastic picture. I think furry hoods are absolutely magical : ) I guess the extra cold and snowy days were good for this shot : ) That is the only good thing I can think of!

Oh boy....do I hear you! We get a few days tease and then...blam.....in the face again. I'ts suppose to be balmy this week-end though. We'll see.

Such a sweet shot of Sarah - looking so mature with a bit of a 'cat who swallowed the canary' look in her eye. What a beauty. Glad she's strong and healthy. That's the most important thing. That and being happy!

Enjoy your workshops sweetie. I get a little thrill - knowing how many people you'll be teaching.

Spring is on it's way to you! We are just getting our first dose of it this week and I'm sure it will be moving across the country to you all soon!! Our last two weeks have been filled with incredible rain and major flooding...supposedly our governor is going to declare that California is no longer in a drought! :)

Love that shot of Sarah! I love her eyes and how her jacket frames that precious face of hers. Have a great week!!

I love this picture of Miss Sarah.

I don't know why but I always think of her being older and more than 34-pounds. She must be a wise soul.

Wow Sarah looks so beautiful in this photo. I see a glimpse of what she's going to look like 10 yrs from now....stunning.

I really cannot show any empathy with you regarding springs arrival. We've had the complete opposite down here. Have had to run the a/c for weeks now. I hope some of our warm temps finally reach you in the NE.

Hope you have a wonderful Wednesday!

xoxo

BTW... Nat is finally back at school! This mommy has a great big smile on her face. :-)

Beautiful shot of Sarah!! I am so tired of this weather! I had one Spring session and it's been in the 30s since. I'm supposed to have one this weekend, but snow is in the forecast. Seriously?!? Bring on the warm weather!! I am ready to BURN our winter coats!! :)

Michelle

Your girl definitely has long legs and she looks much older than 4. I thought we were into Spring too and now it's cold and rainy. Yuck!

Boy do I hear ya on that one! Spring was here briefly and left again.

Sarah is stunning! You and Pat are going to have to lock the doors and keep her inside when she's a teenager. Oh and I had to laugh when I saw her stats. She's 4 inches taller than mr. Will. lol.
His vibrant personality will make up for what he'll lack in height.

Have a great rest of your week and wonderful weekend, Lisa!!!

hugs,
Gail

I love this picture of Sarah. I especially love the fur around her face. Kamree's winter coat is very similar.

Hoping and praying spring is around the corner! I am ready to switch wardrobes over too! I am ready to bust out the capri pants!

I absolutely love this picture! Breathtaking! I'm so sorry you are still enduring the winter up there. We had a beautiful week last week and this week has been rainy and chilly. I'm hoping the weather will be pretty since it is our spring break.

Sarah is a tall one with long legs like Bri! Bri is right behind her at 42 inches tall. :D
